Web-casting is described as the ability to use the Web to deliver live or delayed versions of sound or video broadcasts (searchnetwork, n.d.). Webcasting is one method that allows students the ability to enroll in real-time discusstions with each other and the presenter of the lecture from any computer that plays sound (Jones, Maramba, Boulos, Alexander, 2009).
